This method of curious inquiry plus action “experiments” has the greatest chance to enable organisational transformation.

Organisational transformation

Lisa is an Associate of Amara Collaboration, a consultancy disrupting the norms of consultancy based in Finland, reaching the world.

Amara walks beside individuals, teams and organisations through their challenges and best intentions. We offer structures and methods to help companies who want to shift their leadership and culture to be smarter with the challenges and opportunities they face. We offer helpful learning processes for teams and individuals to enable a shift to a new level of leading, thinking and acting according to their ambitions.

This collaboration embraces the proven transformative power of Inquiry-in-Action.  It’s a balance (sometimes a wobble) of curious inquiry and experimental action. It’s a recognition of the layers of “work to be done.”  Some at an individual level, some at the level of relationship, and some at the level of systems.  It draws on adult development philosophy and theory (action logics).

We believe that embedding change takes a rarely practiced level of human awareness, and a courageous willingness to recognise and foster interconnectedness.

As a kiwi the concept of Kaitiakitanga comes to mind as I experience that mutually held power and care between participants of our work and us; between humanity and the role we all play in creating a better world together.  It’s a dance, no one really knows what’s best, but we offer our full attention and take great care of both the process, the people, and ultimately the desired outcome.
